O Tannenbaum (Oh Christmas Tree)

O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum,
wie treu sind deine Blätter!

Just a reminder that I first learned this song in German. Maybe I’ll study German in the coming year? Who knows!

  1. Hi kim, the tree looks great. I did German at school and can now only remember a handful of phrases – wish I knew more.
    Happy Christmas to you!

    • Thanks Lundy…I can understand some of it still, but speaking it is another story. I love the language. Of course I would love to speak a few others also..Italian, French, Spanish…So many languages, no little time. Merry Christmas to you…many hugs!

      • I hope you have a nice Christmas. I love your tree. I don’t even have one. I work tonight till ten that’s one am your time. Then an hour drive north… Be happy! You are on a path to being well. Thank God you are now on the path!

      • Thank you Juan…many blessings to you for your encouragement. I will be facing many changes in the new year, and will need a friend like you..I am blessed to know you. Be safe driving this evening.

      • Remember it took all you went thru to get you to this point in your journey. It’s the moment that counts… Right this moment.. Look within!

      • I loved that movie.. I just saw her in City of Angels with Nicolas cage… I want to see the new one ” Her” looks good

      • I love “City of Angels”…I have to add that one to my collection. I hadn’t heard of the new one. I’m not sure what it is, but I love Meg Ryan in most anything she has done. I do love her most with Tom Hanks…they have a great connection on film.

      • I hope you are right…I know I will find the right way. I am strong…I just need to get comfortable with “not knowing”…seems to be difficult for me at times, but I’m learning to stay in the moment. Take baby steps.

      • I am too..I’m afraid I am addicted to romance..the kind you see in movies. I am praying…as the new year comes..that I will find that kind of romance, love and respect….sigh. The movie “Her” looks really good, I’ll have to see it.

      • I was young I didn’t understand love but now I am wiser but now no one wants a 56 year old man… The problem with me is I care too much… Remember you are part of the divine and deserve goodness.

    • It’s just a tiny fake tree..I always get really beautiful real trees, but this year it wasn’t going to happen, but I had to have one. I need something to inspire me.
